Has anyone ever bought music from amazon? They claim its in mp3 format...which would be dandy...but who knows.

I buy most of my music from beatport.com however maybe about 1/4 of the tracks I'm looking for --when I add them to my cart or whatever, I receive a message that says "Not available in your territory" WHATS UP WITH THAT?

Where do you guys buy your mp3s from?

yeah I've had that problem with Beatport too. Many of their labels are not domestic and/or the music is only licensed to be sold/distributed in certain countries. It sucks, but you can typically find alot of these tracks online if you know where to look.

Beatport
Then Traxsource
Then Amazon.com
Then Itunes

Price -
Beatport runs - 1.49-2.99.
Traxsource - 1.99-3.99.
Amazon - .89 - .99 cents
Itunes - .99 cents

If you are going for quality go for beatport.
If you are going for savings and quality go for amazon.

Why would amazon lie about the format? I've bought http://www.amazon.com/Me-Baby-Dirty-Mix-Explicit/dp/B000X7RQKM/ref=dm_ap_trk3 off of amazon after hearing it on one of Armando's mixes and it was worth it. No DRM or anything.
